King Of The Mountain features the King Of The Hill-principle known from many first-person-shooters like Quake 2, Half Life, Delta Force or UT.
In every KotM-Map you'll find a so-called 'Mountain'. While standing on the Mountain, your personal Mountain-Time is being count. The player with the highest 'Mountain-Time' after hitting the time- or mountainlimit wins the round.
